It’s time for a Summer Reset.
Ever reach the end of the school year and feel like you’re crawling to the finish line?

Why We Need a Summer Reset
Too often, summer becomes a blur of recovery. You sleep in, you finally binge that show, and before you know it—you’re back to school without having changed anything.
But what if you used this time to reset your systems, your vision, and your confidence?
My Favorite Summer Reset Rituals
🧠 Visioning: Take 10 minutes to write out what you want your classroom to feel like next year. Not the décor or the curriculum—but the vibe.
📚 Batching: Pre-plan 5 warm-ups or routines. Just five. You’ll thank yourself later.
🧩 Systems Check: Look at your lesson planning. Is it working for you—or burning you out?
These aren’t about perfection. They’re about alignment.
Permission to Rest and Dream
Yes, you deserve to unplug. But you also deserve to dream big again.
Pick one thing to rest (like your inbox).
Pick one thing to dream (like revamping your favorite unit).
That’s the balance that fuels sustainable change.
Try This: Set a Bold but Gentle Goal
Choose one summer goal that feels bold enough to make an impact, but gentle enough that you’ll actually enjoy working on it.
Here are some ideas:
✅ Outline your first unit with anchor activities
✅ Try batching five warm-ups
✅ Test AI tools for lesson planning
✅ Create a rough draft of your classroom vision
Then—share it.

Final Thoughts
Your classroom doesn’t need more Pinterest boards or 100 new activities.
It needs a teacher who feels grounded, clear, and inspired.
This summer?
Give yourself permission to slow down, realign, and build something that actually works for you.
Let’s stop surviving—and start designing.
